If you've never had a Brazilian wax before you are probably curious as to how you can prepare and what you can expect. If you know you have a low pain tolerance I recommend purchasing a numbing cream and applying it 20-30 minutes prior to your service. Make sure to keep the area moist (wrap in cellophane if needed) for the best effect. While you're at it, go ahead and pop in a couple of ibuprofen to lessen the inflammation that can last anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days. Once you have finally made your appointment and have found yourself in the waxing room, you will be asked to remove everything from the waist down (don't worry, no one will be in the room watching you remove your clothing), and to lay face up on the table. (You will not be given anything to "cover up", after all... we do need access to certain areas to remove the hair.) From there the rest is up to the Master Esthetician. Lay down and relax.
